AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 8.12. 046, LAUREL MUNICIPAL
CODE, PROVIDING FOR THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE SANITATION
DIRECTOR ON CLASSIFICATION OF GARBAGE USERS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana,
that Section 8.12.046 of Ordinance 681 and Section 8.12. 046 of the
Laurel Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
8.12. 046. Sanitation Director Determination. 1. Each business,
commercial, educational, and other non-residential building and other insti-
tutions shall be placed in a Commercial Classification of the table set forth
in Section 8.12. 034, upon the recommendation of the Sanitation Director
after determination of the type of garbage, the volume of garbage, the
degree of usage and the required service of the user. The minimum fee
for any such user shall not be less than the minimum fee for c0mmercial
service established by resolution of the City Council for that particular
major classification. (Groups I through VI).
2. User classification, and user's volume of garbage and degree
of use may be reviewed by the Sanitation Director upon request of a com-
mercial, educational or other non-residential user, but no more than one
such request per calendar year shall be allowed.
