AMENDING SECTION 9.08.010, BONFIRES
PROHIBITED, OF THE LAUREL MUNICIPAL CODE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Laurel,
Montana, that Section 9.08.010 of the Laurel Municipal Code
is amended to read as follows:
Section 9.08.010 Bonfires Prohibited
1. No person shall build, kindle, or maintain any bonfire,
rubbish fire or other open fire on any property within
the Laurel City limits.
2. To the extent that any section of the Uniform Fire Code,
as adopted by the City of Laurel~ conflicts or is in-
consistent with this'ordinance, specifically Section
11.101 of said Uniform Fire Code, said sections are
hereby repealed.
3.The penalty for any violation of this ordinance shall
be as set forth in Section 9.08.070 of the Laurel Municipal
Code.
4. This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after
final passage and approval by the Laurel City Council.

PASSED by the Laurel City Council and APPROVED by the
