The Tree Board met at 9:00 A.M. at LuAnn Engh's home,
also in attendance Aaron Christenson and Sue Carter. We
were meeting at LuAnn's because of a broken leg.
Correspondence: Billings Arbor Day -May 17, 2013 - 7:30 to
4:30 at Rose Park. They hope to prune, deadwood removal, tree
planting, mulching and irrigation. One half day educational
for 4th graders and ome half landscape around the pool, pruning
and conservation education.
Laurel's Arbor Day will be at the Firemen's Memorial Park,
May 1st, 2013. We hope to meet with the Volunteer Firemen to
discuss the location and type of Trees. What will the Grace
Babtist Church use for a playground?
Check with Park Board on the Thistles in the Parks, do
they need spraying?
Maybe using the Landscaping Contractors organization for
future Arbor Day funtions.
Next meeting April 18, 2013.
