AMENDING SECTION 17.76.010 H, OFF-STREET
PARKING, OF THE LAUREL MUNICIPAL CODE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Laurel,
that Section 1Y.?6.010 H of the Laurel Municipal Code is
amended to read as follows:
Section 17.76.010 H Off-street parking. Except as
provided elsewhere in this section, no application for a
building permit or certificate of occupancy in any zone shall
be approved unless there is included with the plan for such
building improvement or use, a plot plan showing the required
open space designated as being reserved for off-street parking
purposes to be provided in connection with such building
improvements or use in accordance with this section; and no
certificate of occupancy shall be issued unless the required
facilities have been provided. Each required parking space
shall be of an area at least 10 feet wide and 20 feet long,
in addition to the ingress and egress driveways required.
~f~. Off-street parking on the street side of properties
shall be of all-weatherproof surface such as concrete or
asphalt. Off-street parking on the alley side (side adjacent
to alley) shall be all-weatherproof surface material or as
approved by the Street & Alley Committee. rest of ordinance
remains unchanged.
This ordinance shall become effective 30 days after
final passage by the Laurel City Council.
