ORDINANCE NO. 758 PROVIDING FOR FEES TO BE CHARGED BY CITY UPON RESTORING OR REPAVING EXCAVATIONS AND ADDING SECTION 11.04.025, FEES RE©UIRED FOR RESTORATION BY CITY, TO THE LAUREL MUNICIPAL CODE. BE IT ORDAINED by the Laurel City Council that Section 11.04.025 is hereby added to the Laurel Municipal Code as follows: Section 11.04.025~ Fees Required for Restoration by City. A. The City may, at its option, upon request, agree to restore any trench or excavation with asphalt paving material after a proper permit has been obtained for the same. B. The City will assess~a fee for restoration whenever it agrees to do the Work. The Council may from time to time establish a minimum fee to be paid in advance for such restoration, based materials. If the actual cost the minimum amount upon costs for equipment, wages, and to restore the street asphalt exceeds deposited, then the excess will be billed to the person who obtained the permit at a rate to be set from time to time by resolution of the Council. D. The City Engineer shall maintain a list of repairs and restorations that the City has agreed to make. Introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council on November 22, 1983, by Alderman Marvin Carter. PASSED by the Laurel City Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this 6th day of December, 1983.
