ADDING SECTION 10.68.035 TO THE LAUREL
MUNICIPAL CODE, PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR
HABITUAL PARKING VIOLATIONS
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Laurel, Mon-
tana, that Section 10.68.035 is hereby added to the Laurel Munic-
ipal Code, as follows:
10.68.035 Habitual Parking Offenders. A. Any person
who, within a 60-day period, has been convicted of or has for-
feited bond on three (3) or more violations of any of the provi-
sions of this chapter is hereby designated a habitual parking
offender.
B. Upon determining that a person's parking violations
brings him within the definition of a habitual parkin9 offender,
the City Attorney shall file a complaint against such person in
City Court to have the person so designated.
C. Any person convicted of being a habitual parking
offender shall be fined not less than $25.00 nor more than
$5O0.0O.
Introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council on
April 17 , 1984, by Alderman Kellogg
PASSED by the Laurel City Council and APPROVED by the
Mayor this lst day of May , 1984.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty days after
final passage by the Laurel City Council.
