AMENDING SECTION 10.68.040 OF THE LAUREL
MUNICIPAL CODE, PROVIDING A $5.00 MINIMUM
PENALTY AND A $500.00 MAXIMUM PENALTY FOR
PARKING VIOLATIONS
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Laurel, Mon-
tana, that Section 10.68.040 of the Laurel Municipal Code is
hereby amended to read as follows:
10.68.040 Penalty. Any person violating any provision
of this chapter for which another penalty has not been specifi-
cally provided shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of
not less than $5.00 nor more than $500.00.
Introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council on
April 17 , 1984, by Alderman Kellogg
PASSED by the Laurel City Council and APPROVED by the
Mayor this 1st day of May , 1984.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty days after
final passage by the Laurel City Council.
