EXTENDING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF LAUREL,
MONTANA, TO INCLUDE LOTS 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10,
and 11 inclusive, BLOCK 6; LOTS 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,
6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12, BLOCK 11; AND LOTS
1, 2, 3 AND 4, BLOCK 13 OF MURRAY HEIGHTS SUB-
DIVISION, SECOND FILING, YELLOWSTONE COUNTY,
MONTANA.
WHEREAS, the following described property, to-wit:
Lots 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, g, 10, and 11 inclusive, Block 6; Lots
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, g, 10, 11 and 12, Block 11; and Lots
1, 2, 3 and 4, Block 13 of Murray Heights Subdivision, Second
Filing, as shown on the official plat thereof, now on file
and of record in the Office of the Yellowstone County Clerk and
Recorder; and,
WHEREAS, the aforesaid described property is contiguous
territory to the City of Laurel, and that in the judgement
of the Laurel City Council it is to the best interests of
the City of Laurel, and the inhabitants thereof, and of
the inhabitants of the said platted area aforesaid, that
the said corporate limits of 'the City of Laurel be extended
to include the above-described property; and,
WHEREAS, there was duly and regularly passed and adopted
by the City Council and approved by the Mayor on the 6th
day of June , 1984, Resolution No. 2071 entitled:
NOTICE OF INTENT TO ANNEX CERTAIN
LANDS CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY OF
LAUREL, MONTANA.
WHEREAS, the City Clerk did give and publish notice as
provided by law; and,
WHEREAS, insufficient objections were filed to the
extending of the boundaries of the said City of Laurel to
include the above-described property, within the time pro-
vided by the notice and by law; and,
WHEREAS, the area to be annexed meets the requirements
of MCA 7-2-4734 and 7-2-4735; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Laurel will provide services to
the area being annexed as set forth in the report required
by MCA 7-2-4731;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED:
That the boundaries of the City of Laurel, Montana, be
and the same are hereby extended to include the following
described property, to-wit:
Lots 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 inclusive, Block 6;
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, g, 10, 11 and 12, Block 11; and
Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, Block 13, of Murray Heights Subdivision,
Second Filing, as shown on the official plat thereof, now on
file and of record in the Office of the Yellowstone County
Clerk and Recorder; and,
The said corporate limits of the City of Laurel be
extended to include said property, to take effect immediately
upon passage of this Ordinance of Annexation.
Duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Laurel, Montana, and approved by the Mayor
this 17th day of July , 1984..

WAIVER OF PROTEST TO ANNEXATION
FOR A VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, the undersigned, owners of the
hereinafter described property, do hereby waive the right to
protest annexation by the City of Laurel at some future time.
THIS WAIVER and agreement shall run with the land and shall
be binding upon the undersigned, their successors and .assigns.
THE PROPERTY hereinafter mentioned is more particularly
described as follows, to-wit:
Lots 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, inclusive, Block 6;
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, Block 11;
and Lota 1, 2, 3, and 4, Block 13, HURRAY HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION,
Second Filing.

FOR A VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, the undersigned, owners of the
hereinafter described property, do hereby waive the right to
protest the construction at some future time by way of a Special
Improvement District of curb and gutter, street improvements,
paving, sidewalks, lighting, stop signs, street signs, storm
sewer, sanitary sewer, water lines, garbage system, sprinkling
district, drainage district or other special improvements districts
required by the City, either within or without the herein described
property, to provide services for the hereinafter described
property.
THIS WAIVER and agreement shall run with the land and shall
be binding upon the undersigned, their successors and assigns,
and the same shall be recorded in the office of the County Clerk
and Recorder of Yellowstone County, Montana, and become effective
upon construction, or change of ownership of seventy-five percent
of the lots affected.
THE PROPERTY hereinafter mentioned is more particularly
described as follows, to-wit:
Lots 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, :inclusive., Block 6;
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12, Block 11; and
Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, Block 13; HURRAY HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION,
Second Filing.
