AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF PREVIOUS
ORDINANCES NO. 822 AND NO. 1080 AND ELIMINATES THE CREATION OF
LOADING ZONES ON WYOMING AND WASHINGTON AVENUES
WHEREAS, the City of Laurel had previously created freight loading zones on Wyoming
and Washington Avenues, between Main Street and the alley between Main Street and E. 1"
Street; and
WHEREAS, the City of Laurel desires to exercise the power given to it through MCA{} 7-
1-4123, and repeal these previous ordinance, and thereby eliminate the freight loading zone
designation for these areas;
NOW THEREFORE:
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Laurel, Montana, that
the LAUREL MUNICIPAL CODE is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 1: That Section 10.44.030 shall be amended to eliminate all of subsection A. and
subsection B.

Section 2:
That this ordinance is specifically intended to repeal previous Ordinance No. 822
and Ordinance No. 1980.
Section 3
That all resolutions, ordinances, and sections of the LMC inconsistent herewith are
hereby repealed.
Section 4
If any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof to any person or
circumstances is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the other provisions of
this ordinance which may be given effect without the invalid provisions or
application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be
severable.
Section 5: This Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after final passage by the
City Council and approved by the Mayor.
