COUNCIL CHAMBERS MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Chuck Rodgers Lauren Van Roekel Gary Temple Ken Olson Mazk Mace Gay Easton Daniel Dart Bud Johnson OTHERS PRESENT: Cal Cumin Rick Musson Mary Embleton Jan Faught Gay Easton distributed information regarding the joint city/school meeting scheduled for Wednesday, December 6a', at 7:00 p.m. at the Laurel Middle School. Mark Mace is scheduled for knee surgery on Wednesday, December 13~'. Gary Temple cautioned residents to be aware of ways to prevent vandalism at this time of yeaz. Rick Musson reinforced Gary's comments, and he mentioned that the Police Department has been calling residents who leave their gazage doors open at night. Rick will attend Stan Langve's graduation from the Police Academy on Friday, December 8a'. Chris Romero will complete his training session right before leaving for the Academy in January. Joe Leckie did not attend the meeting due to illness. Matt Erekson, the new city attorney, will attend the next council meeting and be appointed at the January 2"d council meeting. Joe is still working on the code book updates. The sandblasters have found that not much of a floor exists in the swimming pool. Larry and Steve will make a report to the Public Works Committee. Police officers Jason Wells and Joel Sauter developed a class regazding I.D. checking for local businesses that serve or sell alcohol. Only three people attended the class on December 1~. Officer Wells will be attending a staff meeting at Town Pump this week to present the information to them.
