LOWSTO N £ CITY-COUNTY PLANNING BOARD LAUREL, MONTANA $9044 January 10, 1991 The January 10, 199~ meeting of the City-County Planning Board was brought to order at 7:00 p.m. with the following members present: John Hawley Smith, Chairman Joseph M. Bradley, City Rep. Gerald Shay, Member at Large Donald Gudgell, County Rep. Russell Bray, County Rep. Jim Ziegler, County Rep. Others present: Cal Cumin, City Planner Cheryll Lund, City Secretary Stella Ziegler Grace Edwards & Jim Edwards Joanne Stevenson Members absent: Lonnie Kellogg, City Rep. Donna Kilpatrick, City Rep. Clarence Foos, County Rep. Motion by Don Gudgell, seconded by Gerald Shay, to pay the administrative services bill for $400 (2 months) and the bill from Cumin Associates for $3,375. Motion carried. Cal introduced Jim "Ziggy" Ziegler, the new Yellowstone County Commissioner, who will be serving on the Board in Grace Edward's place. Cal explained to Jim a few of the responsibilities of the Planning Board. Cal also commented that there are two vacancies on the Board, one County Rep., and one City Rep. Both of these vacancies are being advertised throught the Laurel Outlook. Hopefully we will get some response. There will be a February public hearing on selling beer and gas on the same premises. Cal reported that the Scuba Diving ordinance was passed by the City Council. The application was modified some from what the Planning Board had drafted on the ordinance. Groshelle Pond will more than likely be given to the City by the County, if no one buys it in the next tax sale. The City has plans to use it for storm drain purposes. Cal gave a run down on what he would like to see the Board accomplish in 1991. Motion by Russ Bray, seconded by Gerald Shay that the minutes of the November 1990, be approved. Motion carried. Motion by Joe Bradley, seconded by Don Gudgell to adjourn the meeting. Meeting was adjourned at 7:30 p.m. Respectfully submitted, Cheryll Lund, Secretary
