Dear Laurel City Council,
I have been informed of a vacancy on the Laurel Airport Advisory Board secondary to
a resignation. If there is in fact a vacancy, I would like to submit my name for
consideration.
I am relatively new to the area having moved to Laurel in 2023 but I have made a
number of acquaintances in the pilot community at Laurel Airport as well as Billings
(Logan).
® I currently rent a hangar at Laurel Airport with the hope of being able to store my
airplane at Laurel permanently.
® I have been a pilot and aircraft owner for 45 plus years.
® I have some experience with several of the issues that are of immediate concern to
the Laurel Airport including the relationship of the airport with the FAA.
I would like to see an Airport Advisory Board that is looking to the future with concern
for the airport, the tenants, and of course complying with FAA regulations.
