BUDGET/FINANCE COMMITTEE

Don distributed a list of fund numbers and descriptions that the
City uses.
Discussion regarding emergency repair at the Water Plant intake
where damage was caused by ice james in the river.
Discussed the sidewalk CTEP Project. The total cost is
approximately $38,000 and the City's share of this is $5,129.00.
InclUded in the p~oject cost is $ 2,100.00 for engineering fees.
Due to Jim's work load he would like to turn over the engineering
responsibilities to a local engineer at the cost of approximately
$ 2,400.00 which is $300.00 over the project estimate. The City's
cost would then be $ 5,429.00. The City budgeted $ 6,000.00 for
this project so the total City's cost is less than the amount
budgeted.
Motion by Dirk Kroll, seconded by Bud Johnson, to recommend
the hiring of Stillwater Engineering for engineering services for
the sidewalk CTEP Project. Motion carried.
Purchase requisitions were approved as follows:
GENERAL FUND
Annual servicing of fire extinquishers
at the FAP
Repair holding room at FAP
Registration for Dirk Kroll, Miles Walton,
and Bud Johnson for a workshop in
Bozeman
Lumber and paint for rebuilding picnic
table tops
