BUDGET/FINANCE COMMITTEE

The committee reviewed the June claims.
Motion by Ron Marshall, seconded by Gay Easton to recommend that
they be paid, Motion carried.
Don reported that he received a letter today from the Mutual of Omaha
companies. They informed us that there will be no increase in the life
insurance rates and only a 5% increase in health insurance premium
rates, effective September 1, 1996. The Mayor signed the renewal
confirmation and it has been forwarded to the Portland office.
Purchase requisitions were approved as follows:
GENERAL FUND
Gas for police cars and animal control
Various traffic signs
295 T-shirts - Summer Recreation Program
Radio set for fire engine #4
Service Fire Department vehicles
Tires for fire support #1
Books for Library
Computer work station for Police Department
5,000 purchase orders
