BUDGET/FINANCE COMMITTEE
AUGUST 20, 1996 4:30 P.M.

Cathy distributed the overtime list for pay period ending August
10, 1996. Bud inquired as to what caused the various overtime
situations. Dave stated that a lot of it was due to the major
water breaks that we recently had.
Dave distributed and reviewed a fact sheet he made for the sewer
rate increase.
Dave commented that he felt a monthly cash transfer in the sewer
fund was overlooked during the budget process. He will do more
research and check with Don. If it was overlooked in the budget,
then the sewer rate will have to be adjusted to compensate for
this.
Regarding the consulting program for the Sewer Treatment Plant, Jim
commented that he has contacted two companies and has heard back
from one firm.
