Subject: Application for Laurel Airport Advisory Board Position
itiymyunderstanding that there has recently been a resignation by a member of the Laurel Airport Advisory Board.
If there will be a vacancy on the board, I would like to submit my name for consideration as a replacement.
* 1 have previously served on the airport board (for only 6 months, prior to a temporary relocation out of state)
* ( have been a"user"nfthe Laurel airport aso:
o Private pilot for 12 years (I received my private pilot certification at Laurel)
o Hangar renter for 9years
o Hangar owner for 1year
w 1 am personally acquainted with many of the other current users of the airport as well (maintenance and FBO
personnel, other pilots, students and instructors etc. | value the friendships that I've made and have there.
w Over the past 11 years, I've been involved with many of the "volunteer" maintenance related activities at the
airport aswell.
|care very much about the current well-being ofthe airport, and also about its future direction, and would like very
much to be of service again inthe capacity ofaboard member.
