Dog Ordinance
Doug Poehls, Chairman, handed out a rough draft that he constructed for the City of Laurel
animal ordinance. He used information from the present animal ordinance, the revision that
Bruce McGee presented to resemble the City of Billings animal ordinance and the discussion
with Chief Musson after he went over issues with Connie Crowe, Animal Control Officer. The
committee members took a few minutes to read over the rough draft. There was discussion and
the members agreed that Doug should make a final draft and present it to Chief Musson, Connie
Crowe, and Sam Painter, Attorney.
