The Tree Board met at 1:30 in the conference room of
City Hall. Pat Hart presiding, members present were Chuck
Rodgers, Arron Christenson, LuAnn Engh , Sue Carter and Kurt
Markegard.
We composed a letter for the residents on Eighth Avenue
concerning their trees in the boulevard. We stressed ownership,
replacement and care of trees.
We talked in general about trees, there is a 10% loss in
new plantings and they need water and fertilizer in the Spring
and Summer and very little water in the Winter, unless it is an
open winter.
We voted on a new meeting time, the third Thursday at 9:00
A.M. in the City Hall Conference room. Next Meeting September
20, 9:00 A.M.

We held a work session twice in the month of August to take
the posts and cables offthe trees, did some pruning on Eighth
Avenue
