Rock the Block had a good turnout, they are thinking about a cover in the future for the band
No September 3rd meeting then starting the 3 Monday we will have a joint meeting of the regular
meeting then split into groups from the May 30 planning session. One thing to look at is a revolving
loan program High Plains is still in contact with applicants A new application for signage next to Ace
Hardware A motion was made to approve payment for the new sign at the Corner Cafe next to Ace. The
motion was approved. A motion was made to approve payment for the sign at Redneck Pizza which is
already installed. The motion was approved.
Shirley Ewan wanted us to discuss the 2013 budget. Mill values are just in and she will updated us at the
next meeting. Tim Brank of the school system will send a letter discussing the money need for the new
gym floor. We are going to set up a challenge matching donations up to a total of $15,000. We also
approved up to $10,000 for the lighting at Town Square. We will continue support for Monica's job in
the amount of $6,000. We currently have $161,514 in the LURA account.
