October 22, 1996
A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana, was
held in the Council Chambers and called to order by Mayor Chuck Rodgers at 5:30
p.m., on October 22, 1996 for the specific purpose of opening and awarding a bid
for a pole building.
COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT:
Miles Walton
Bud Johnson
Norman Orr
Dirk Kroll
Ron Marshall
Donna Kilpatrick
William Staudinger
COUNCIL MEMBERS ABSENT: Gay Easton

This being the time and place advertised, the only bid received was opened and
read aloud.
S Bar S Supply Co.
2101 Old Hardin Road
Billings, MT 59101
Bid Bond was attached.
Labor and materials for a 40 x 140 x 16 Turned Girt Pole Building in the amount
of $44,345.00.
A recess was taken and the bid was reviewed by Larry McCann and Andy Loebe. It
was determined that the bid met the specifications.
Discussion regarding the building size, etc. and the budgeted amount.
Motion by Alderman Marshall to award the bid to S Bar S in the amount of
$44,345.00 for a 40 x 140 x 16 Turned Girt Pole Building, seconded by Alderman
Orr. Motion carried 7--0.
The meeting adjourned at
5:45 p.m.
