Board Meeting Minutes
The Meeting was held on May 10th at Sid's Eastside Grill. In attendance were: Executive
Board Members: President - John Mataisz, VP- Steve Yates, Co -VP - Luanne Engh, Secretary
Joanne Flynn and her assistant Marcia Hafner. Directors: Jim Taylor, Bryan Wood, Tim Bronk, Jodi
Chapman, Libby Erb, Angela Hughes, Heidi Jensen, and Alternate Joe Statser. Members: Renee
Studiner, and Laura Musseter and Guest: Mayor Ken Olson.
John called the meeting to order.
The minutes were approved: moved to approve -Jim, 2 - Bryan.
The financial report was approved and bills were presented for payment: moved to approve -
Steve, 2 - Libby.
NEW BUSINESS
• New Members - none
• Grand Marshals - The Board voted for the "We the People" team.
OLD BUSINESS
• Spotlight on Business - Always looking for new.
• Repair the Sign - Laura presented the info on the material they will be using.
They will deal with the rotted wood, shore & level everything. Then they will
inject with the epoxy material. Magnum will only charge for the materials.
• Parade - Floats will have a height limit of 15 feet.
OPEN FORUM
• Ribbon Cutting - Today at Ed's Barber Shop.
• Ace Hardware - will be donating 10% of all receipts to the HS Gym Floor project
on May 12
• Business after Hours -.
o May 24th - Pitt's Pizza & Ace Hardware
o June 21st- Laurel School District & Woods Pow'r Grip at Wood's.
o July 26 - Sid's
o August -_still open
