The Tree Board met at 1:30 in the conference room of
City Hall. Pat Hart presiding with Chuck Rodgers, Sue Carter,
Lion's Club member's Roger Perkins and Vince Layden, others
in attendance Arron Christmansen, Matt Wheller and Curt Markegard.
The Lions Club wants to do Arbor Day with 180 children in
the fourth grade at Graff School. They to plant 150 trees along
the Interstate side of the Pond, they are Noraway Spruce purchased
from the State. They will plant April 27, 2012 at 8:45, 60
students at a time and will be finished at 1:00 o'clock. The
City will possibly mow the grass around the trees.
Sue, said she would check to make sure West school was
still helping at the Library, May 1st for Arbor Day. They are
planting 3 Trees (2 Locust and 1 Noraway Maple)in the boulevard,
also check at Library to see if it is ago.
Next meeting May 17, at 1:30 in the City Hall conference
room.
