AMENDING SECTION 10.24.040 C, PARKING LIMITATIONS,
OF THE LAUREL MUNICIPAL CODE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Laurel that
Section 10.24.040 C is hereby amended as follows:
Section 10.24.040 Parking~at Curb -- Emplacement of Signs.
A. No change
B. No change
C. Parking Limitations The Chief of Police shall post signs
where parking is limited or prohibited, indicating such
limits or prohibitions. In such areas where parking is
limited, the time specified shall be consecutive between
the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. of each day, provided
however, that no person may move his vehicle within the
posted district for the purpose of avoiding the posted
parking limitations.
This provision is in addition to the ordinance providing
for parking limitations on certain streets (see Chapter
10.68, LMC).
Introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council on
January 2, 1985, by Alderman Meyers
PASSED by the Laurel City Council and APPROVED by the
Mayor this 15 day of January , 1985.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days
after final passage by the Laurel City Council.
