HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 801ORDINANCE NO. 801 AMENDING SECTION 8.12.054, CERTAIN MATTER NOT TO BE PLACED IN RECEPTACLES, OF THE LAUREL MUNICIPAL CODE. BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Laurel, that Section 8.12.054 of the Laurel Municipal Code is hereby amended as folIows: Section 8.12.054 Certain Matter Not to be Placed in Receptacles. Dead animals, poisons~ explosives, dangerous or corrosive chemicals, clothing taken from persons with in- fectious diseases, heavy metals or metal parts, lumber, dirt, rocks, bricks, concrete blocks, tires, crates and other refuse from construction or remodeling, shall not be placed in re- ceptacles used for regular collection service or the City con- tainer collection service. Animal feces and materials impreg- nated with urine must be properly enclosed in a leakproof bag before being placed in a City container. Introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council on M~rch ]gth , 1985, by Alderman Meye[$ PASSED by the Laurel City Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this 2,d day of April , 1985.
