GARAGE SALE SIGNS PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS.--~
ADDING SECTION 9.20.065 TO THE LAUREL,:'

BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of aurel
they is hereby added to the Laurel Municipal C e Section
9.20.0 as follows:

1. No person`~hall post any garage or and sale advertisement or
poster on an public property or n any pole or-post withirr-the
City's right-o way, including oulevards, along 1st Avenue,
north and south, nd along M n Street, east and west.
2. No person operating r con cting any garage or yard sale shall
advertise said sale b m ns of any poster or advertisement
posted on any public p erty, or on any post or pole within the
City's right-of-way, nclu inq boulevards, along 1st Avenue, north
and south, and alo Main St eet, east and west.
3. Any person posti any sign or dvertisement, advertising any
garage or yard ale, said sign o advertisement posted on any
public proper y or along any City right-of-way, including boulevards;
other than ong 1st Avenue, north an south, and Main Street, east
and West, hall remove all such signs o advertisements within 48
hours a er the conclusion of the event a vertised.
4. Any pe son violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be
punished by a fine not less than $10.00 or mo a than $100.00.
Introduced by Alderman Erennan on May 21, 1985, at a
regular session of the City Council. `~
PASSED and APPROVED on June 4, 1985, by the enti \ Council present.
This Ordinance effective 30 days after final passage.
