The Tree Board net at 1:30 in the conference room of
city hall. Members present: Chuck Rodgers, Sue Carter, Heidi
Jensen, Nancy Schmidt - Library, Fred Bicha, and Arron Christensen,
works for Sylvan Nursery.
Arbor Day will be May lst, at the Laurel Libray. Three trees
will be purchased, with a budget of $750.00, 2 Noraway Maples
and 1 Honey Locust, to be planted in the Boulevard in front
of the Library.
Heidi Jensen reported on the Program Development grant
of $7,500, with 22 new trees, planted in silos, decorative
grates and garbage cans. Write into contract to water trees
with TIF or CTIp monies.
The Tree inventory will be put on the City Web site for
public knowledge.
Trimming and removal of trees on the G.P.S.map, with red
triangles and numbers on the inventory map.
We will discuss program further for the Arbor Day Activities
at the next meeting, March 15, 2012.
