ADDING SECTION 2.12.095 TO ALLOW THE CITY COUNCIL
TO RECONSIDER ITS FINAL ACTION UPON ANY QUESTION
AT THE NEXT SUCCEEDING REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
FOLLOWING THE MEETING AT WHICH THE FINAL ACTION
WAS TAKEN, TO THE LAUREL MUNICIPAL CODE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Laurel that
Section 2.12.095 is hereby added to
to read as follows:
Section 2.12.095 To Allow the
Its Final Action Upon Any Question
the Laurel Municipal Code
City Council to Reconsider
The City Council may
reconsider, upon majority vote of the members present, the final
action upon any question at the next succeeding regular Council
meeting following the meeting at which the final action was
taken.
Introduced by Alderman Kellog9 on July 16,
1985, at a regular session of the City Council.
PASSED and APPROVED on August 6, 1985, by the entire
present.
This ordinance effective 30 days after final passage.
