Board Meeting Minutes
The Meeting was held on March 22nd at the Chamber Log Cabin. Food was ordered from Subway. In
attendance were: Executive Board Members: President - John Mataisz, Secretary Joanne Flynn and her
assistant Maraa Hafner. Directors: Jim Taylor, Bryan Wood, Tim Bronk, Jodi Chapman, Libby Erb, Michelle
DeBoer, Angela Hughes, and Alternate Joe Statser. Members: Renee Studiner, and Tammy Martinson. Also
attending were new members Laura Mussetter and Lindsay Aguilar from Magnum Development.
John called the meeting to order.
The minutes were approved: moved to approve - Angela, 2n - Tim.
The financial report was approved and bills were presented for payment: moved to approve - Ubby, 2n -
Joe.
NEW BUSINESS
• New Members - Magnum Development; they make insulated skirt walls and free form
items out of high density foam.
• July 4 Committee - Some decisions that were made.
o We will use the online registration from IMATHELETE.
o We will raise all fees by $5, except the day -of fee, which will be raised by $10.
o We will order our own customized bibs in purple.
o Discussion questions:
• Will sponsors logos run on the bottom of the IMATHELETE site.
• We will need to have someone at the race for day -of registration.
• Ribbon Cutting - Austin's Pharmacy would like to do a ribbon cutting on Sat., April 14
at 11:30, to kick off their grand opening.
OLD BUSINESS
• Spotlight on Business - Always looking for new.
• Sign Project - We should start thinking about what needs to be done on the sign repair.
• Sound System - Joanne has looked into sound systems. Ubby thought we should
investigate and ask someone which type we need. Angela said the small one will not be
enough for the run. Tim suggested the man who runs the school sound system and gave
us the number for Montana School Equipment. Renting it out to other businesses was
suggested, but discouraged by several of the members present.
OPEN FORUM
• Gym Floor donation - Previously the Chamber had voted to give $500 for the gym floor,
but hadn't written the check yet. It was written today.
• Upcoming Events:
o Walmart will be having a benefit for the Big Sky Honor Flight Sat, March 24 11am
to 5pm. They will be serving Polish dogs or hot dogs, chips & a drink for $3.
o The Crossings will be having their annual Springfest /Putt Around on June 9th
• Business after Hours -.
o March 22 - Ideal Weight - -- tonight
o April 26 - the Crossings & Northland Corrosion
o May -
o June - Tim thought the school could do one teamed with someone else. It would
have to be off school grounds & the collaborating business would do the beverages.
Bryan was suggested.

NEW BUSINESS
• July 4 Bibs are ordered in purple. ImAthlete website- entries can now go there to register - we
will be entering the sponsors as we get them in - pictures and Logo's can also be entered - Letters
are sent out to recruit more sponsors to cover expected additional T -shirts needed. -
Parade Route Change - slight change in route. The parade will now turn left off 1s` Ave onto Bch
Street, not 7 Street. This is to accommodate the vendors.
NO underage drivers on 4- wheelers.
If you are not a "Run Sponsor" please consider doing so. Large letter $150.00 small $50.00

Other meetings will be at various businesses and the food will be sponsored by some of our eateries
that do not have a room to accommodate us.
