AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ASSESSING OF AMBULANCE COSTS TO
PATIENTS
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Laurel, Montana, that Section 20.06.110 is hereby added to the
Laurel Municipal Code, to read as follows:
Section 20.06.110. Assessment of Costs.
A. Whenever the volunteer ambulance responds to any
report to any injury, accident or other hazard or
situation within the municipality, or within the
services service area established by any agreement,

The City Council shall from time to time by
establish rates and charges for ambulance calls or
including rates to be charged for attendants,

supplies, equipment and services, said rates to be charged and
billed by the Chief Attendant as the ambulance services' costs
as provided above. The City Council may from time to time
alter or amend such rates and add or delete charges from time
to time by further resolution, as the Council may deem
appropriate.
