. ORDINANCE OF ANNEXATION NO. 881
EXTENDING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF LAUREL,
MONTANA, TO INCLUDE TRACT A OF CERTIFICATE OF
SURVEY N0. 2385, YELLOWSTONE COUNTY, MONTANA.
WHEREAS, the following described property, to-wit:
Tract A of Certificate of Survey No. 2385, said parcel located
in E'~ SE; NE; Section 9, T2S, R24E, PMM, Yellowstone County,
Montana, according to the official survey on file in the office
of the Clerk and Recorder of said County under Document No.
1398279. ] ~
WHEREAS, the aforesaid '.described property is contiguous
territory to the City of Laurel, and that in the judgement of
the Laurel City Council it is to the best interests of the
inhabitants of the said platted area aforesaid, that the said
corporate limits of the City of Laurel be extended to include
the above-described property; and,
WHEREAS, there was duly and regularly passed and adopted
by the City Council and approved by the Mayor on the 15th day
of April, 1986, a resolution entitled:
NOTICE OF INTENT TO ANNEX CERTAIN LANDS
CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY OF LAUREL, MONTANA.
WHEREAS, the City Clerk did give and publish notice as
provided by law; and,
WHEREAS, insufficient objections were filed to the extend-
ing of the boundaries of the said City of Laurel to include
the above-described property, within the time provided by the
notice and by law; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Laurel will provide services to the
area being annexed as set forth in the report required by MCA
7-2-4731; and,
WHEREAS, the area to be annexed meets the requirements of
MCA 7-2-4734 and 7-2-4735;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED:
That the boundaries of the City of Laurel, Montana, be
and the same are hereby extended to include the following
described property, to-wit:

Tract A of Certificate of Survey No. 2385, said parcel located
in E'~ SE's NE's Section 9, T25, R24E, PMM, Yellowstone County,
Montana, according to the official survey on file in the office
of the Clerk and Recorder of said County under Document No.
1398279; and,
The said corporate limits of the City of Laurel be extended
to include said property, to take effect 30 days after passage
and approval of this Ordinance of Annexation.
Introduced by Alderman Dickerson on July 1, 1986, at a
regular session of the City Council.
Duly and regularly PASSED and ADOPTED by the City Council
of the City of Laurel, Montana, and APPROVED by the Mayor this
21st day of July, 1986.
