MUNICIPAL CODE, ESTABLISHING PENALTIES
FOR VIOLATION OF ANY ORDINANCE, RULE OR
REGULATION GOVERNING CITY PARKS.

Section 16.02.050. Penalties
IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
that Section 16.02.050 is hereby adopted and added to the
for violations of Park
Ordinancesr Rules and Regulations.
A. Any person violating any provision of this chapter
for which another penalty has not been specifically provided
shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished as set forth in
Section 1.16.020 of this Code.
B. Any person violating any rule or regulation adopted by
the Park Committee pursuant to this chapter shall, upon
conviction thereof, be punished by a fine not to be less than
$50.00 nor more than $500.00, or by imprisonment for a term not
exceeding six (6) months, or both.
This Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days
after final passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
Introduced and passed on first reading at a regular meeting
of the City Council on March 20 , 1990, by Alderman
Rodgers
PASSED and ADOPTED by the Laurel City Council on second
reading this 3rd day of April _, 1990, upon motion
