BOARD OF TRUSTEES July 8, 2002

Minutes -read and approved
Correspondence- We received notification about the Montana Festival of the
Book to be held in Missoula September 27 -28. MMIA will present a workshop on
liability for department heads tomorrow Tuesday July 9.

Circulation- Traffic was 1,476 for July uly 2002, down 2% from July 2002.
Circulation for July 2002 was 2,790 down 9% from July 2001.
Old Business- The summer reading program is going very well. The preliminary
budget will be presented to the City council on July 16.
New Business- There was discussion to make a list of books that the library is
unable to purchase due to lack of funds. Election of officers was held with Peggy
Freund elected president, Gail Brice elected vice- president, and Katherine Kucera
elected Federation Advisory Board member. Our regular meeting time will be
changed to the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
Next meeting- August 13, 2002 at 6:30 p.m.
