BOARD OF TRUSTEES September 10, 2002
Attending- Gail Brice(presiding), Clair Killebrew(a.k.a. Clara), Katherine Kucera,
and Peggy Arnold
Minutes -read, corrected, and approved
Correspondence- There will be a Federation Advisory Board Meeting on October
5, 2002 at the Parmly Billings Library
Circulation- Traffic for August 2002 was 1,436 down 8% from August 2001.
Circulation for August 2002 was 2,875 down 15% from August 2001.
Old Business- The budget was approved. We will get confirmation in a few weeks
about the Montana Committee for the Humanities program scheduled for Nov. 6,
2002. Jason Hill has been working on his Eagle Scout project on Thursday
nights. Peggy Arnold is still contacting individuals about forming a Friends of the
Library Group.
New Business- Peggy Arnold will be on vacation September 21 -29. We discussed
topics for council workshops and discussed changing library hours to open at 9
a.m. instead of at 10 a.m.
