BOARD OF TRUSTEES August 12, 2003
Attending -Peggy Freund (presiding), Katherine Kucera, Bonnie Latham, Clair
Killebrew, and Peggy Arnold
Minutes -The minutes of the July 8 meeting were read and approved.
Correspondence- We received the reimbursement for Interlibrary Loans in the
amount of $467.77.
Circulation- Traffic for July 2003 was 1,657 up 1% from July 2002. Circulation for
July 2003 was 3,086 down 10% from July of 2002.
Old Business- Library Use, Rules were adopted and Community Room Rules
were reviewed.
New Business- We will begin to review the Internet Use Policy. We have a fax
machine at the library for public use for 800# and local calls. Clair will decorate
the children's section. The library will be closed August 29 until September 2 for
Labor Day weekend and Peggy will be on vacation August 22, 2003 until
September 2, 2003. The Laurel Roadrunners 4H has been looking for projects,
so we may ask them to paint the book drop, build some shelves, and help with
getting more of our records into OCLC.
