BOARD OF TRUSTEES March 9, 2004

Minutes
The minutes of the February meeting were read and approved.
Coorespondence
MLA conference registration is available. The budget meeting with the budget
and finance committee is April 14 at 7 pm.
Circulation
Traffic for February 2004 was 1,580 up 17% from February 2003. Circulation for
February 2004 was -27697 up 17% from February 2003.

Old Business
The library board will prepare and sign a letter for the budget concerning a raise
and vehicle use expenses for the library Director position. We will pledge $200
for the Virtual Reference Cooperative project. The summer reading theme is
'Discover New Trails.... Read', the sidewalk may need to be repaired, the LFWC
will host a play and Easter Egg Hunt on April 7, and Peggy reported on the
reading club.
New Business
There is a grant opportunity to join the Shared Catalog. Peggy Arnold
demonstrated the Lewistown Libraries catalog. The next South Central
Federation meeting is April 3 in Billings.
