BOARD OF TRUSTEES November 9, 2004
Attending
Peggy Freund (presiding), Katherine Kucera, Bonnie Latham, Gail Brice, and
Peggy Arnold attended the meeting.
Minutes
The minutes of the October 12, 2004 meeting were read and approved.
Correspondence
The holiday program will be presented by Bernice Mason on November 18 at 7
p.m.
Circulation
Traffic for October 2004 was 1,610 up 4% from October 2003. Circulation for
October 2004 was 3,126 up 10% from October 2003.
Old Business
We discussed a change in the time we meet and decided that we would continue
to meet at 6:30 p.m. Peggy Arnold has completed the initial training for the
Montana Shared Catalog. Bonnie, Kay and Gail attended the Library Advocacy
trustee workshop. Topics discussed include Friends of the library groups,
partnering with other groups, and getting the story out. Guitar lessons are going
well.
New Business
A motion was passed last year to always close the day before Thanksgiving at 2
p.m. and to close at noon on December 24 and December 31. Library
employees have the option to use vacation time or work a different schedule in
order to work the usual number of hours. The next policy to review and revise
will be our Internet Use Policy.

The next meeting will be on December 14, 2004 at 6:30 p.m.
