AMENDING SECTION 17.88.040(A) (5) OF THE
LAUREL MUNICIPAL CODE TO DELETE THE
REQUIREMENT OF PUBLICATION OF SPECIAL
REVIEW RECOMMENDATION.
IT IS HEREBY ordained by the City Council of the City of
Laurel, Montana, that Section 17.88.040(A) (5) of the Laurel
Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 17.88.040. Zoning Commission Action.
A. The Zoning Commission shall make a recommendation to
the City Council to:
(1) No change.
(2) No chang6.
(3) No change.
(4) No change.
(5) In the event the City Council holds its own Public
Hearing on the application, then the recommendations of the Zoning
Commission and the notice of public hearing before the City Council
shall be published twice in a newspaper of general circulation
in the jurisdictional area of the Laurel-Yellowstone City-County
Planning Board with the first publication being at least 15 days
prior to the hearing, delineating the time and place of that
hearing.
This Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days
after final passage by the City Council and approval by the
Mayor.
Introduced and passed on first reading at a regular meeting
of the City Council on December 19 , 1989, by Alderman
Dickerson
