ORDINANCE NO.
SECTION 2.08.160 ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC
WORKS DUTIES, OF THE LAUREL MUNICIPAL CODE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Laurel,
Montana, that Section 2.08.160 of the Laurel Municipal Code
read as follows:
Section 2.08.160- Assistant Director of Public Works
Duties. The Assistant Director of Public Works shall:
1.Assist in supervising City personnel within the
Public Works Department.
2. Prepare various reports regarding construction,
maintenance and budgeting as directed.
3.Order equipment and supplies as directed.
4. Work with budgeting and purchasing within the Public
Works Department.
5. Assist the Director in scheduling and coordinating
personnel.
6. Serve on various appointed Committee's at the Mayor's
direction.
7. Shall have four (4) years experience in a supervisory
capacity of municipal construction/maintenance and
utility operations.
This Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days
after final passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
Introduced on first reading at a regular meeting of the
City Council on August 15, 1989 by Alderman D±ckerson
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Laurel City Council on second
reading this 5th day of September, 1989.
APPROVED by the Mayor this 5th day of September, 1989.
