SECTION 2.08.160 , ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
OF PUBLIC WORKS, OF THE LAUREL MUNICIPAL
CODE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Laurel,
Montana, that Section 2.08.160 reads as follows:
Section 2.08.160- Assistant Public Works Director. There
is hereby created the office of Assistant Public Works Director.
The Assistant Public Works Director shall be appointed by the
Mayor with the advice and consent of the Council, for the term
of office of two (2) years, or for such shorter period as may
be designated in the appointment, and until his successor is
appointed. The position of the Assistant Public Works Director
shall be a salaried position. The Assistant Public Works
Director's salary shall be established by resolution of the
Council.
This Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days
after final passage by the City Council and approval by the
Mayor.
Introduced on first reading at a regular meeting of the
City Council on August 15, 1989, by Alderman Dickerson
PASSED and ADOPTED by the Laurel City Council on second
reading this 5th day of September, 1989.
APPROVED by the Mayor this 5th day of September, 1989.
