Board Meeting Minutes
The Meeting was held on Nov. 10th at Guadalajara. In attendance were: Executive Board Members:
President - John Mataisz, VP- Nancy Metzger, Secretary Joanne Flynn and her assistant Marda Hafner.
Directors: Linda Frickel, Jim Taylor, Luanne Engh, Bob O'Dea, Jodi Chapman, and Altemate Joe Statser.
Members: Tammy Martinson and Michelle DeBoer.
John called the meeting to order.
The minutes were approved: moved to approve - Bob, 2nd - Luanne.
The financial report was approved and bills were presented for payment: moved to approve - Linda, 2nd -
Michelle.
NEW BUSINESS
• New Members Dr. Gary A White, Optometrist and Chaffee Trucking.
• Holiday Open House - The Open House will be at the Chamber Nov. 17 from 4pm-
7pm. A sheet was passed out for people to sign up to bring goodies. The Chamber will
provide beverages and a cheese & veggie tray.
• Christmas Decoration Repair - The board agreed to work on the light repair at the
boxcar on Wednesday The 16 at 3pm.
• Christmas Decorations - The decorations will go up on Sunday after Thanksgiving (Nov.
27 We will meet at the Owl at 9:00 am. It was asked if anyone had any other ideas for
volunteers to help.
• Annual Meeting - Joanne has a line on a comedian. Luanne will check at the school for a
humorous -duo or solo. We will again be asking for donations for the raffles.
• Meetings - We will not have another meeting in November and will meet on December 8th
& 22 "
• New Board Members - It is time to think about suggesting new board members to
replace the members whose terms are up: Linda, Nancy, LuAnne and Bob.
OLD BUSINESS
• Spotlight on Business - Always looking for new. Michelle said she would work on
something for the Crossings.
• Repairs to Visitors Sign - We'd like to table that until next spring.
OPEN FORUM
• Pedestal signs - Replacing the signs was discussed. Linda said that if she has the info of
what goes on the signs, she will get us a bid.
• Water rates - Joanne, Linda and Jim attended that meeting. The measure was passed.
• Business after Hours -.
o November 17 - The Chamber Holiday Open House
o December 15 - Anchor Creative
o January 12 - Annual Meeting @ 1437 Beartooth Dr.

Christmas Decorations normally come down the Sunday after New Years - .Jan 8th ,,
HELP NEEDED - Board members and we would like to get a group of kids to help with this.
Annual Meeting - Entertainment - comedian: Mark Dawson
Vote on new Board Members for 2012 -2014 -
* We need nominations for board members replace the ones whose terms are up - leaving
are: Nancy, Linda, LuAnn and Bob.
