Re: Water rate increase
Dear Laurel City Council;
I would like to request the cities consideration for a phase in period, for the Laurel School District,
of the water and sewer rate increase to align with the School Districts fiscal year. Our fiscal year
runs from July 1 — June 30. Therefore, I have not budgeted for an increase to begin in the middle
of our budget this year. My request would adjust the water and sewer rate increase, for the Laurel
School District, to begin with meter readings starting on July 1, 2012. I would be willing to
attend a City Council meeting, to discuss this matter further, if need be. Thank you for your
consideration in this matter.
