AMENDING SECTION 11.20.020 OF THE LAUREL
MUNICIPAL CODE, APPLICATION FOR PERMIT.
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Laurel, Montana, that Section 11.20.020 is hereby amended to
read as follows:
Section 11.20.020 Application for permit.
A. Every application for a permit to move, remove er relocate
any building or structure in the municipality, or to
transport any building or structure through the municipality,
shall be made to the City Engineer in writing upon forms
furnished by the municipality and shall set forth the
following information, if pertinent:
1) Address of present location of the structure;
2) Address of new location;
3) Type of construction ( frame, masonry, masonry
veneer, etc.)
4) Length, width and height of building or structure;
5) Specific route over which the building or structure
is to be moved;
6) Type of Occupancy (dwelling, garage, office, etc.)
for both new and old locations;
7) Proposed moving date and time of day.

D. The City Council may establish an application fee for
said permit by Resolution, and may increase or decrease
the said fee from time to time by Resolution, as the
Council deems appropriate. The required fee must be
paid at the time of submission of the application.
This Ordinance shall become effective thirty days after
final passage and approval.
