ORDINANCE NO. 945
AMENDING SECTION 17.40.010 (D), FENCES,
WITHIN PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY WITH APPROVAL
OF CITY ENGINEER
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Laurel, Montana, that Section 17.40.010 (D) is hereby amended
to read as follows:

4. No fence hall be locate in a public right-of-way
except with rior writt n approval of the City Engineer.
The City Engin er may pprove location within public
right-of-way if he ame would not unduly interfere
with access to pub c utilities located therein,
and only if the o e s execute a written agreement
acknowledging th t th City retains all rights to
said right-of-w y, wit out limitation, and that the
owners may be equired o remove the fence, at their
own risk, at any time, w thout notice.

This ordinan a shall become effe tive thirty (30) days
after final passa e by the City Council nd approval by the
Mayor.
