AMENDING SECTION 16.02.020 TO ESTABLISH
A CURFEW IN CITY PARKS
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Laurel, Montana, that Section 16.02.020 of the Laurel Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
1. All City parks shall be closed from twelve (12) P.M.
until six (6) A.M. each night.
2. No person shall remain in or upon any City park during
closed hours.
3. This Ordinance shall not apply to the overnight camping
areas designated in Riverside Park.
4. Any person violating the terms of the Section, shall,
upon conviction, be punished as setforth in Section
1.16.020 of this Code.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after
final passage by the City council and approval by the Mayor.
Introduced on first reading at a regular meeting of the
City Council on September 20, 1988 , by Alderman Dickerson,
and passed.
PASSED and ADOPTED by the Laurel City Council on second
reading this 4th day of 0ctober , 1988, upon motion by
Alderman Dickers0n
