ORDINANCE N0. 933
AMENDING SECTION 7.04.030 OF THE LAUREL;
MUNICIPAL CODE, TO ADD CATS TO ANIMALS
REQUIRING LICENSE IN THE CITY OF LAUREL. ~
IT IS H EBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Laurel, Montana, that Section 7.04.030 of the Laurel Municipal
Code is hereby amen d to read as follows:
A. No person shall k , own or have in h' possession within
the City, whether on his premi es or runnin at large, any dog or
cat, either male or female, witho t firs having obtained a license
for the same as provided in this cha r.
B. Licenses for dogs and cat sha be issued'by the City
Clerk upon application for the me as pro ided in this chapter
and payment of the license f provided in S tion 7.04.040.
C. No license shall issued unless and til the person or
persons applying therefo e first sets forth on the application
the age, breed, sex, for and other discriptive mar 'ngs of the
dogs or cats to be 1' ensed, and the name and address o the owner
or possessor.
D. Dogs a d cats shall be licensed on or before Decem r
31st of each ar, subject to the exception that owners or
possessors o newly acquired dogs or cats brought into the city
shall obta'n a license for such dog or cat within thirty days
after bri Bing such dog or cat into the city and. the owners or
possessors of puppies or young dogs or kittens or young cats
shall license such dogs or cats within six month
