COMMUNICATIONS -J.C. Penney Co. has paid its pledge for this year.
The Montana State Library Commission has 'rescinded its motion'
to change the federation structure.
REPORT OF THE LIBRARIAN - Traffic for Dec. 86 was 2416, up 15% from
November 86 and up 32X from December 85. Circulation for Dec. 86
was 4331. down 2% from November 86 and up 10% from Dec. 85.
FINANCIAL REPORT - $17,139.83 is in the Capitol Projects Fund, and
025.017.83 is in the Building Fund at Yellowstone Bank.
COMMITTEE REPORTS-
. FOUNDATION -The Laurel Library Trust has been established and
has a post office box. The trust board members are considering a
five Member board.
GRANT -The Deluxe Check Printers Grant will be ready to
submit this week. A motion was seconded and passed to search for
a grant writer.
OLD BUSINESS -none
•
NEW BUSINESS -The Chamber of Commerce made a donation to the
building fund. A motion was made, seconded and passed to transfer
the Yellowstone Bank Building Fund to the Laurel Library Trust if
a transfer 13 consistent with accounting rules.
