October 11, 2011
A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana, was held in the Council
Chambers and called to order by Mayor Ken Olson at 6:30 p.m. on October 11, 2011.

COUNCIL MEMBERS ABSENT: Norm Stamper

SCHEDULED MATTER:
• Public Hearing: Notice of proposed levy of special assessments in Special Improvement
District No. 112 and Special Improvement District No. 113.
Mayor Olson stated that the public hearing was on the proposed levy for special assessments in Special
Improvement District No. 112 and Special Improvement District No. 113. This second public hearing is
for public comment on the assessments.
Mayor Olson read the rules governing the public hearing.
Mayor Olson opened the public hearing.
Mayor Olson asked four times if there were any proponents. There were none.

Mayor Olson closed the public hearing.
Mayor Olson asked for a motion to approve the assessments for the properties.
Motion by Council Member Poehls to approve the assessments for properties in SID No. 112 and
SID No. 113 as set out in Resolution No. R11 -99, as adopted by the City Council on September 20,
2011, and to resolve to ratify and confirm those assessments by a resolution to be adopted at the council
meeting on October 18, 2011, seconded by Council Member Nelson. There was no public comment or
council discussion. All seven council members present voted aye. Motion carried 7 -0.
ADJOURNMENT:
Motion by Council Member Poehls to adjourn the council meeting, seconded by Council
Member Mace. There was no public comment or council discussion. A vote was taken on the motion.
All seven council members present voted aye. Motion carried 7 -0.
There being no further business to come before the council at this time, the meeting was adjourned at
6:36 p.m.
