AMENDING SECTION 17.321010, LAUREL MUNICIPAL CODE,
TO ALLOW CERTAIN RETAIL COMMERCIAL ACTIVITIES IN
LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONES.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Laurel,
that Section 17.32.010 of the Laurel Municipal Code is hereby
amended in part as follows:
1. All commercial activities presently allowed to exist and
operate in Highway Commercial Zones, now designated with the
Letter "A" shall also be allowed in Light Industrial Zones,
except for the following uses which shall continue to be
excluded from Light Industrial Zones:
Camps, Public;Colleges or Universities, Hospitals (for the care
of human patients), Hotels, Lodges, Clubs Faternal and Social
Organizations, Motels, Motor Courts, Schools, Commercial
Theaters, Cinemas, and Opera Houses.
This ordinance shall not affect or amend the said ordinance
in regard to permitted uses by special review permit and in
Highway Commercial Zones, now designated by the Letter "SR"
in said Section 17.32.010.
