PROHIBITING NON-TENNIS ACTIVITIES ON CITY
TENNIS COURTS
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Laurel,
there is hereby added to the Laurel Municipal Code Section
16.02.020 as follows:
16.02.020 Non-Tennis Activities Prohibited on Tennis Courts.
City Tennis Courts shall be used only for the practice and
playing of tennis. All other activities are hereby prohibited
on all City Tennis Courts. No person shall use or occupy
any City Tennis Court or any part thereof for any purpose
other than the playing or practicing of tennis.
2. Any person violating the terms of this ordinance shall,
upon conviction be, punished by a fine not exceeding $100.00.
This ordinance shall be effective Thirty (30) days after final
passage and approval.
Introduced and passed on first reading at a regular meeting of
the City Council on 3uly 21 , 1987 by Alderman
Dickerson
PASSED and ADOPTED by the Laurel City Council on second
reading this 4th , day of Auqust , 1987.
