MOTION:
South Central Federation of Libraries supports the concept of centralized
service, with the following provisions:
1. That the public be educated to the importance of submitting accurate,
complete information for each request with t5S view toward reducing
verification costs;
2. That South Central Federation of Libraries participation be contingent
on the allocation of costs on a usage basis;
3. That 1985/86 statistics be used for the purposes of cost allocation for
the first 6 months of the service with revaluation after the first
6 months of use;
4. That the centralized service be provided by the successful bidder in
response to specifications developed by the Federation Coordinators.
